We are home to a great men’s hair cut, not everyone knows this.

But doesn’t our salon specialize in balayage and beauty?

Sure. But we provide all services we excel in. We can’t exclude our Y chromosome counterparts from all the goodness we have here at Haus of Pretty. We’re inclusive.

For most men’s hair cuts with any length, scissor cuts with professional shears are ideal. The reason is this- professionally sharpened, crafted steel shears slice the hair cleanly to create a perfect haircut. On a microscopic level, this makes a clean end. Lending to less splits and shinier hair that lays flat. Clippers, on the other hand, leave a jagged or torn edge, if you were to look under a microscope. These jagged ends create a rougher surface. The hair itself won’t look as shiny, and will lay imperfectly.

Here’s a visual of a sharp razor edge shear slice and a clipper cut hair strand:

You can, however, combine the two methods to create a target result!

Huh?

Jagged ends give the hair grip. In shorter styles, this can add volume and texture when placed correctly.

In short, schedule your next men’s hair cut at Haus of Pretty salon. Women can tell the difference, however minute.

Plus, we provide double shampoos, free nitro coffees/health drinks, won’t neglect your brows, and will give you hair styling tips that you can actually implement.

Don’t go back to your (home) office dehydrated and covered in tiny hairs.

Also- for ladies with short haircuts, we understand the difference between feminine and masculine shapes. It may be a fine line, but we don’t cross it.
