DIY Deep Conditioning: Easy, Natural, Color-Safe Hair Mask Recipes

DIY Easy, Natural and Color Safe hair mask recipes using banana, avocado, honey and yogurt for you to make at home.

Deep conditioning is a must for colored hair!

There are so many products on the market, it can be tough to choose which one is best. We find that a healthy rotation of products is great. However, some deep conditioning masks have ingredients like parabens and silicones that are no bueno for hair long-term. They may make the hair look shiny initially, but over time cause build up and dullness- the exact opposite of what you are using the product for! They may also contain toxic ingredients. Because of this, we thought we would pull together some simple and non-toxic ways to deep condition your hair at home.

Here are two hair mask recipes we love that are specifically designed to hydrate and benefit colored hair! Colored hair requires extra care to maintain its vibrancy and health. Hydrating hair masks can be a lifesaver by helping to nourish, moisturize, and protect the hair by increasing flexibility. Not to mention, they can add incredible shine and improve manageability!
